Can I get a tour of the apartments?

Tours are from Monday to Friday from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm. Some weekends are available. Please give us a call for more information.

How many bedrooms are in each apartment?
Each apartment is exactly identical, with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a double sided kitchen. (one stove, one microwave, two refrigerators, and two sinks)

How much is rent?
10 month leases $990

11 month leases $950

12 month leases $920

How much are utilities?
Utilities are an additional $70 a month, this will include all utilities  including WiFi and cable in the living room

How much is the deposit?
The security deposit is $700, but there is also a one-time operational fee of $75 as well as a $25 application fee, totaling at $800 This is due when you turn in your application.

If you change your mind, your security deposit is refundable We do keep the $25 application fee and operations fee ($75)

Do you allow pets?
We do not allow pets.

Are the apartments furnished?

No, but each apartment does have a dining room table and large appliances (no dishwasher). Each bedroom has a small 4-drawer dresser a large desk and built-in shelving above the desk.

How many levels are there in the complex? Are there elevators?
We have 3 levels.

We do not have elevators.

Can I request a certain level to live on?

Yes. While it is not always guaranteed we will be able to fulfill your request, we will try to accommodate you.

Can I choose my roommates?

You can request your roommates on your application. We will do our best to fulfill these requests, but occasionally we cannot make it work simply because of the space available. Roommate requests are our first priority, before apartment level requests.

Do I need a cosigner/ guarantor?

Yes, we do require a cosigner since most students are young adults, and tend to have little or no credit. Our only exception is for EOP students who can obtain a different application and will have a different required payment method.

Why do I need to pay for the deposit right away?

The deposit is the only sure way to hold a place at Allegro. If we don’t have the full deposit, the application is considered incomplete, and you may lose your spot.

Are the apartments co-ed?

No, the apartments are single sex.

Can two tenants share a bedroom?

At this point, we have decided that each apartment can only comfortably house 1 tenant per bedroom.

What is shared in each apartment?

Each tenant has his/ her own bedroom and bathroom vanity. The toilet and shower are shared between 2 tenants. The same two tenants will also share one side of kitchen cabinets, a fridge, oven and sink in the kitchen. All four tenants will share the living room and patio/ balcony, microwave, and oven.

Is there on site maintenance?

Yes, we have on-site maintenance and an after hours phone number for emergencies.

Is there on site laundry?

Yes, each tenant receives a key for any laundry room on site. There are 3, one for each level. Each laundry room has 2 washers and 2 dryers.

Is there parking?

We have 72 assigned parking spaces which cost $50 per month in addition to monthly rent. There is also plenty of street parking.

What are the dimensions of the bedrooms?

Each apartment is identical. The bedrooms are roughly 10 x 13 feet with a nook for the included desk and a large closet. You can easily fit a full or queen size bed with room to spare.

What is the best time to start applying at Allegro?

It's advisable to start the application process as soon as possible. Given that Allegro tends to fill up its positions by the end of May, applying earlier can increase your chances of securing a spot. Don’t procrastinate until the end of the summer for our off- campus housing students!

Can I smoke on my balcony/patio?

Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property, including balconies and patios.

Do I need to be a student to apply?
No, you do not need to be a student to apply.
